I promise this is the last post on MicroID today (It’s only number three ;) The previous two are here and here). Just as we’re asking people to start adopting MicroID, we felt it is only fair to help people start verifying MicroID’s. I’ve written a very simple perl implementation of a MicroID verifier and released it under the GPL. Make sure you read the install notes, in its current state the verifier requires a DB (where you’ve stored links and MicroID’s), but if you don’t have a DB you can just strip those parts away and use my code as a reference.
