We’ve posted the schedule and attendee list for the UNC Social Software Symposium. Response to the CFP was overwhelming, and we’re totally bummed everyone couldn’t come. To make up for it, we plan to heavily document the proceedings, and perhaps do a bigger conference-style event next year. We’re also happy to present some of the guest experts attending the symposium. They are:
- Janna Anderson, Professor at Elon University and director of the Pew “Imagining the Internet” Predictions Database.
- Nicole Ellison, Faculty of Michigan State University.
- Cliff Lampe, Faculty of Michigan State University.
- Amanda Lenhart, Senior Research Specialist at the Pew Internet and American Life Project.
- Thomas Vander Wal, Folksonomy expert and prinicipal of InfoCloud Solutions.
- David Weinberger, Author of Everything is Miscellaneous, Small Pieces Loosely Joined and co-author of the Cluetrain Manifesto.
We’re looking forward to two days of great discussion.
