		<description>Erik, Glad I could be of help.  Filters and labels are excellent for managing alerts.  Another thing I use is stars.  When alerts come in, I will almost always scan them immediately.  If there are interesting hits, I will immediately download and print.  However, if I don&#039;t have time, I will star the interesting ones, and come back and process them when I have time (something I just got done doing..I&#039;ve got a big pile of interesting articles to go through).</description>

		<description>What a great way to organize. I get lots of emails with alerts, but not to my gmail account, and they get unmanageable quickly. I like your approach because it builds a de facto archive of ongoing research. I am going to switch my alerts to gmail immediately. Thanks.</description>
